One of California's, and the nation's,
foremost universities, Stanford University ("The
Farm") had a need to offer its faculty training
on various necessary policies and procedures.
The best way to go about this seemed to
be via the university intranet. This way, the faculty
could look over the training sessions at their leisure,
instead of having to wedge a training session into their
already full schedules.
To design and implement this training
area, Stanford University enlisted a technology firm
specializing in training for large corporations and
universities, utilizing the newest technology available.
As the design work progressed on this training project,
this firm brought in Cast Shadow Design to aid in the
artwork and animation production for the session.
Working closely with their designers and
programmers, Cast Shadow worked on the production of
several graphic elements (called Signature Graphics)
to be used as the graphic denoting a particular section
of the training session. These signature graphics were
animated in Macromedia Flash by Cast Shadow after all
elements were approved by the client. We also produced
layouts for several screens of the training session.
Cast Shadow has also worked on additional
modules for this project. |
