The CONVIS (Convention & Visitor's
Bureau) site is a service website that supplies travelers
with up-to-date information about San Diego tourism,
current events and local businesses.
Travelers can search their online database
for travel information, hotel accommodations, and recommendations
for shopping, dining and entertainment.
They were interested in updating the look
of their website to make it more appealing to visitors
planning on traveling to San Diego. To do so they enlisted
the help of a prominent advertising agency in San Diego
to handle the re-design and technical overhaul of the
site.
One of Cast Shadow's designers worked
with their advertising firm on this project to develop
the initial re-design for the web. Working closely with
these designers, as well as with programmers brought
in to work on the site, we adjusted the design to format
it for the web. Other recommendations, such as animations
and rollovers were made, and we supplied the final site
layouts to the programmer to be made into web graphics,
and uploaded to the server. |
